FICCI BAF Award

The introductory TLDF animation titled Special Deeds for Special Needs won the award in the Animated Film on Social Welfare - Professional category, edging out rival entries including MTV and Famous House of Animation. The FICCI BAF Awards, instituted in 2004, are the first-ever Animation Awards in India to recognise excellence in the field of Animation. Over the years, FICCI BAF has grown steadily and now encompasses award categories not only in Animation but also in VFX and Gaming. This year there were more than 580 entries from 21 countries in 17 categories. There were 17 winners overall from some of the top animation companies.
